We are offering a substitute position from as soon as possible until 31.12.2026. As a Practical Nurse at Lehmusvalkama rehabilitative day activities, you will support the functional capacity and well-being of elderly people in goal-oriented work where every encounter matters. The clients of the rehabilitative day activities are home-dwelling elderly people over 65 whose functional capacity has declined. An individual rehabilitation plan is drawn up for each client, which is implemented as multi-professional group rehabilitation. Your tasks As a Practical Nurse, you will plan and guide rehabilitative group activities and participate in the assessment and recording of clients' functional capacity. You will implement physical and cognitive exercises, organize outdoor activities and small group activities, and support clients in achieving their own goals. You will work closely with home care, relatives, and service guidance to ensure that clients' rehabilitation and daily coping receive the best possible support. The work consists of daytime shifts on weekdays. What we expect from you We expect an active and customer-oriented approach to work, self-direction, and good interaction skills. You have the ability to encounter elderly people in different life situations and have a good command of the Finnish language, both spoken and written. Work experience in elderly services, LOVe medication permits, proficiency in Pegasos/OMNI360 systems, and good IT skills are considered an advantage. The qualification requirement for the position is a vocational qualification in social and health care (practical nurse) or an earlier school-level degree in the field, as well as valid registration in the JulkiTerhikki and JulkiSuosikki registers.
