We are now looking for a restaurant worker for Xamk's restaurant services to handle customer service and cashier duties, cold kitchen production tasks, and catering tasks with serving rights at Restaurant Talli on the Mikkeli campus. The task is a fixed-term family leave substitute and full-time. The task begins on September 1, 2026, or by agreement and ends on December 20, 2026. A probationary period is observed in the filling of the task. What is the job about? As a restaurant worker, you primarily handle customer service and cold kitchen tasks, money and billing traffic, and daily customer information tasks at Restaurant Talli. In the job, you will participate in coffee services and catering activities, the implementation of self-monitoring, the guidance of trainees, and the daily work routines of the restaurant. Your closest colleagues will be the kitchen master and the restaurant manager. In addition, you will get to work with other restaurant staff on the Mikkeli campus. Why apply to us? We require a suitable degree in the field, an independent approach to work, and hygiene and serving expertise. We expect you to have work experience in both customer service and the cold kitchen in the food service sector. In addition, we expect you to have IT system and money traffic expertise in the field, and that digital customer information tasks flow as part of the work tasks.
