The warehouse manager plays a fundamental role in our fastener plant operations; oversees the efficient receipt, storage and shipment of a variety of goods, being responsible for traffic and logistics in our facilities. The position holder manages the team staff to ensure that goods are received and shipped properly, and that productivity goals are met. The warehouse manager is also responsible for providing leadership and direction for all safety, quality, delivery and cost reduction goals that meet and exceed the needs of our internal and external customers. Main Activities and Responsibilities: * Coordinate and monitor the receipt, ordering and dispatch of goods, ensuring efficiency and accuracy throughout the process. * Provide daily leadership to foster an injury-free workplace and ensure environmental compliance. * Use space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently, aligning with quality, budgetary and environmental goals. * Maintain a clear understanding of company policies, vision and the warehouse's role in achieving them. * Coordinate the use of automated and computerized systems as necessary for operations. * Respond to and manage communication with suppliers by email and telephone effectively. * Ensure inventory accuracy through consistent cycle counting procedures. * Plan future capacity requirements to meet operational demands. * Organize staff hiring and training, monitor performance and encourage continuous development. * Motivate and encourage teamwork within the workforce to achieve productivity goals. * Develop and maintain work instructions to ensure compliance with operational standards. * Generate periodic reports and statistics to track performance and progress. * Report daily to Operations Leaders on warehouse activities and performance. * Coordinate daily activities with the Operations Team to attend to customer requests promptly. * Maintain health, safety, hygiene and protection standards in the work environment, including safe storage of hazardous materials. * Oversee planned maintenance of Motorized Industrial Trucks and maintenance of the warehouse building. * Oversee maintenance and operation of warehouse management systems and automated storage and retrieval systems where applicable. * Provide backup support as necessary to ensure uninterrupted operations. * Ensure the supervised department meets daily/annual goals. Evaluate and suggest new procedures and processes to increase efficiency. * Develop, recommend and coordinate the implementation of new procedures. * Proactively communicate supply chain issues and provide alternatives and ensure compliance with government regulations and equipment maintenance and a safe and clean environment.

Requirements
- 4 or more years of experience in warehouse or supply chain activities
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, 45001 and 14001
- Understanding of English language preferred
- Results-oriented approach and ability to take responsibility for problem solving
- Flexibility and willingness to initiate and lead change
- High customer focus
- Ability to operate forklifts and move items manually
- Excellent computer skills (basic PC programs, Google applications a plus)
- Forklift knowledge, verified certification preferred
- Experience with transactional functions in core computer systems (e.g., shipping/receiving) preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a highly participative teamwork system
- Willingness and ability to recognize and address unsafe acts or hazardous conditions
