Lead a service home unit and act as the team’s supervisor, ensuring residents’ daily life is safe, individualized, and meaningful. The role combines frontline care with administrative leadership to maintain high-quality, impactful, and financially sustainable operations. About half of the work is direct client contact and half is administrative leadership. Duties include shift planning, recruitment and onboarding, ensuring self-monitoring, medication safety and security, budgeting and financial tracking, collaborating with relatives and welfare regions, and developing unit operations with residents and the team. Requirements include a relevant higher education degree in social and health care (e.g., AMK Social Services or AMK Nursing), Valvira registration and a valid social and health care professional card, adequate experience in disability services, knowledge of the Disability Services Act (675/2023), leadership experience, vaccination protection under Infectious Diseases Act and valid medication licenses, and a criminal record extract before starting work.
