About the role

Kyyhkyspuisto Day Care Centre in North Leppävaara is looking for a childcare worker for a group of 3-5 year olds. It is easy to come to us and easy to be with us! The work community is humorous, warm-hearted, and communal, where everyone can bring their own strengths to the common use. We hope to find a responsible, playful, and committed early childhood educator to join our team, for whom children, presence, and play are at the center of the work. You meet guardians and colleagues warmly and sensitively and have a positive attitude towards different cultures and diversity. As a childcare worker, you will participate in planning, guiding, and evaluating the group's activities. You are able to guide a small group of children. In addition to yourself, your team consists of two early childhood education teachers and another childcare worker. Together with your work team, you ensure a safe and pleasant early childhood education day for the children. Some of the children in the group have support needs. As an educator, you can see the child's strengths and act positively and solution-orientedly even in challenging educational situations. You know how to utilize language-aware methods when working with children. Kyyhkyspuisto Day Care Centre has 4 groups in two different buildings. Both buildings have one group of 1-3 year olds and one group of 3-5 year olds. Both buildings have their own kitchen and a combination worker who also assists in the children's groups for part of the day. The buildings are separated by a large and natural yard area, which is fenced into three different yards. The day care facilities are cozy and colorful. The groups have dividing spaces, and the spaces can also be modified according to needs. We will consider all applications received during the application period and arrange interviews after the application period has ended.
