Role Details\n Business, Location: Service Delivery, China\n Role: Field Applications Engineer\n Reports to: Field Applications Manager - PT China\n Direct Reports: None\n Primary Purpose: Working closely with others, ensure that OIPT equipment is fully functional and available for customer use.\n\n Key Responsibilities\n Process commissioning: Demonstrate process performance of tools installed at customer’s sites to pass customer acceptance tests and achieve system acceptance. This could involve foreign travel.\n Troubleshooting: Provide technical process troubleshooting and connection with customers.\n Training: Carry out customer training both at customer sites\n\n Indicative Performance Measures\n Customer acceptance of the process performance of installed tools in field.\n Met all key objectives on all and over achieve on most field acceptance jobs\n “On target”– successfully achieved objectives\n “Mostly achieved”– targets missed in one or two areas\n Results not achieved in a number of areas or few areas of high impact\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Person Specification – Essential requirements unless stated\n Education / Qualifications:\n A relevant science or engineering degree. Physical or EE engineering.\n Significant experience of the semiconductor industry or relevant experience in an academic institution.\n \n Professional Skills/ Abilities:\n Abilities:\n Excellent written and oral communication.\n Thin film measuring skills (e.g. SEM, stress and RI)\n \n Skills : General deposition and/or etch experience, if have below two processes capability, that will be better.\n Ion Beam (Deposition and / or Etch)\n Deposition: PECVD, ICP CVD and ALD\n Etch: RIE, ICP and FA\n \n Personal Qualities:\n Plans effectively in order to meet business objectives\n Plans own time to maximum effect,\n Highly innovative and good lateral thinking skills for identifying opportunities for technology development applications.\n Willingness to take on responsibility\n Willingness to travel Field acceptance.\n #LI-TJ1
