Process Engineer

Sanmina designs, manufactures and repairs optical, electronic and mechanical products. The company serves industries including industrial, medical, defense, aerospace, automotive, telecom and cloud services. The Haukipudas site in Oulu provides electronics contract manufacturing and supports circuit board assemblies and systems for telecommunications, healthcare, defense and instrumentation. The unit offers local DFX, prototyping and launch (NPI) services and mass production of boards and systems, with strong supply chain management and direct links to over 70 global facilities. We seek a Process Engineer for a permanent position to join the local Engineering team (~15 engineers). On-site in Haukiputa, flexible hours. Responsibilities include designing and creating new production processes, developing existing ones to ensure smooth production, assessing new production solutions and equipment as a technical expert, implementing new processes, documenting and integrating processes into production control systems, and supporting customers' design teams. The role requires collaboration with operators and internal stakeholders (maintenance, IT, quality). We expect strong experience in electronics manufacturing, relevant engineering education and/or several years SMT and electronics assembly experience, IPC-A-610 knowledge, proactive and solution-oriented attitude, and fluency in Finnish and English.
