Company Specialist

As a Company Specialist, you will act as a partner to employers and companies, promoting the availability of skilled labour in the region and supporting recruitment. You will provide public labour services to employers, support recruitment processes, and participate in developing the functioning of the labour market and the competitiveness of businesses. The role focuses on job mediation and responding to employers’ workforce needs. You will work closely with employment experts in industry-focused teams that combine employers’ needs with job seekers’ skills. You will actively search for suitable job applicants for open positions, identify future labour needs of employers, and build solutions to improve availability of workforce. The job also includes responding to employers’ needs in “silent searches” where suitable candidates are identified and referred to employers without a public job posting. You will collaborate with employers, employment experts, educational institutions, authorities and other partners. You will monitor developments in the services and tourism sectors and identify skill and education needs, contributing to training collaboration. You will also support start-ups and growth for companies, and participate in international recruitment planning and implementation, including EURES networks and Work in Finland initiatives. The required qualification is a suitable university degree and fluent Finnish and English. You will be expected to have interest in labor markets, recruitment and company services, ability to learn and apply applicable law, proactive and networked working style, and strong collaboration skills. Additional valued experience includes work with employers or recruitment services, knowledge of international recruitment or EURES work, regional labour market familiarity, and other language skills. There is a health requirement: a medical certificate is required before taking up the post.
