Tredu is the Tampere region’s vocational college and the second-largest provider of vocational education in Finland. Tredu operates across eight municipalities in Pirkanmaa and educates about 17,000 students annually with around 1,000 staff. We train skilled workers and students through apprenticeships and training contracts and provide tailored adult education. We seek a permanent position for a part-time teacher of Technical Design starting October 1, 2026. The main workplace at start is Tredu’s Virta campus in Lempäälä. Your duties include teaching vocational subjects in technical design per the curriculum: architectural, structural, electrical and HVAC design, as well as guiding on-the-job learning and planning/evaluating demonstrations in collaboration with the student and stakeholders. You should have practical experience in construction design for new builds and renovations, experience in architecture, structural, electrical and HVAC design, and strong IT skills with CADS, REVIT and AUTOCAD. We value broad construction-sector knowledge and willingness to participate in customer projects. You should have good interaction and collaboration skills and the ability to work with diverse students, plus significant experience in vocational education and teaching, and experience with Wilma, Moodle and Teams in teaching. Qualifications follow the Educator Qualifications Act and require a valid B-class driver's license and the ability to use your own car for work. Knowledge of 3D modeling and printing is a plus. A six-month probation period is used. Before starting, the selected candidate must present a criminal record extract and a health certificate as required by law. Salary is in accordance with OVETES.
