Practical Nurse

We have substitute positions available: Runosmäki Elderly Care Center 2A and 2B, 17.8.2026 - 27.9.2026 Runosmäki Elderly Care Center 6A and 6B, 70% working hours, as soon as possible - 31.5.2027 (position filled). Your Role You will work with a resident-centered and rehabilitative approach. Your duties include basic and medication care according to the care plan, assessment of functional capacity and care needs, and the implementation of cultural and leisure activities. You will also be responsible for the planning, organization, and reporting of nursing care, and you will work closely with relatives and stakeholders. The work is in three-shift rotations. What We Expect From You We expect a positive attitude toward development, self-direction, and good interaction and cooperation skills. Additionally, you need a willingness to work in three-shift rotations. The position requires good Finnish language skills. Valid LOVe medication permits, knowledge of the RAI assessment system, good IT skills, and work experience in elderly services are considered an advantage. Eligibility requirements for the position are a vocational qualification in social and health care (Practical Nurse) or an earlier school-level degree in the field, as well as valid registration in the JulkiTerhikki and JulkiSuosikki registers.
