We are now looking for a surgical nurse for the operating department in Turku for a parental leave replacement. The work involves supporting various surgical specialties such as orthopedics, joint surgery, hand and foot surgery, neurosurgery, gastro- and plastic surgery, gynecology, ENT, and cataract surgery. The surgeries are mainly day surgeries or short-term treatments. As a nurse in Turku, you play a vital role in enabling our surgical services. You will work in operating rooms, utilizing and developing your skills across multiple specialties. Tasks may include instrument, anesthesia, circulating nurse, or recovery room duties. Our operating room nurses are responsible for perioperative care and coordination of surgical patients. The position is full-time, fixed-term until August 31, 2027, starting in the autumn as agreed. Working hours are guided by hospital opening hours, Monday to Friday, with weekends off. Compensation includes task-based salary, possible personal bonus, and benefits. The salary is determined according to the private healthcare sector collective agreement (TPTES), with a minimum of €2693.83/month, which can increase with experience and skills. Additional pay factors include personal bonuses, responsibilities, and seniority.
