Vocational Teacher

As a full-time hourly teacher, you have practical expertise in payroll, invoicing, ledgers, accounting, financial statement entries and documents, taxation, and strong Excel skills. Some of the aforementioned are implemented online (Teams). Your primary place of operation is Jokiväylä 9 in Rovaniemi, but teaching, guidance, or demonstrations also take place at other REDU training locations, so a driver's license is essential for the role. Teacher duties include teaching and guiding students of different ages in the educational institution, digital learning environments, workplaces, and in various projects within customers' operating environments. Additionally, the duties include personalizing studies, assessing competence, and developing education together with colleagues; therefore, you are expected to have experience in these areas from the current vocational education legislation (2018 onwards). Proficiency in Studenta would be particularly welcome, but as a quick learner of application software, you can acquire it otherwise. We require vocational teacher qualifications according to Decree 986/1998 as well as practical expertise and work experience in several of the following areas: payroll, invoicing, ledgers, accounting, financial statement entries and documents, and taxation. Furthermore, the selected person is required to have organizational skills, willingness to travel, a genuine interest in developing vocational education, and the ability to guide young people and adults to achieve the goals set for the qualification.
