Are you interested in working in Young Children's Psychiatry? We are looking for a nurse for a permanent employment contract in HUS Child Psychiatry, Young Children's Psychiatry Day Unit. The day unit is located in Sörnäinen, Helsinki. The work is daytime work on weekdays and starts on August 17, 2026, or by agreement. In the Young Children's Psychiatry Day Unit, preschool-aged children and their families are treated. The work includes diverse outpatient care performed with a multidisciplinary team in the day unit as well as in the children's own environment, such as at home or in daycare. During treatment periods, the nurse works closely with the child's family and networks. Knowledge of family- and network-centered working methods is important. Our unit uses Feedback Informed Treatment (FIT) as part of the evaluation and development of care. We expect the applicant to have good knowledge of the child psychiatry specialty and good interaction and cooperation skills as well as an independent approach to work. In the Children's and Adolescents' Diseases result unit, we are committed to the development of nursing care according to the Magnet Hospital model. Eligibility requirements for the position: Licensed nurse. Language requirements: good oral and written skills in Finnish and satisfactory oral and written skills in Swedish, or good oral and written skills in Swedish and satisfactory oral and written skills in Finnish. We require vaccination protection in accordance with the Communicable Diseases Act for those working in customer and patient areas, and a health certificate for pulmonary tuberculosis for those working in healthcare units. The person selected for the position must present a criminal record extract required from those working with children in accordance with Section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act (770/1993).
