Restaurant Manager - Ranuan Seudun Matkailu Oy - Ranua, Finland

Ranua Resort, operated by Ranuan Seudun Matkailu Oy, is a developing, international, and unique destination known for its zoo, quality accommodation, and restaurant and activity services. As our current restaurant manager transitions to new internal roles, we are seeking a professional restaurant manager to develop our restaurant operations. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily operational management of the restaurant, shift planning, procurement, self-monitoring, and maintaining quality and hygiene standards. You will oversee the profitability and performance of the restaurant and develop and maintain customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and feedback collection. You will participate in the development of the restaurant's offerings and concepts in collaboration with the CEO and team. Our company holds an EcoCompass environmental certification and STF badge, and environmental and social responsibility are important to us. As a team leader, you will handle recruitment and onboarding of your staff and lead by example to help your team achieve goals. You will work closely with other staff members. We expect you to have strong knowledge of the restaurant industry and previous experience in a similar role. Success in this position requires excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as proven financial management skills in a restaurant setting. The ideal candidate is proactive and results-oriented. Our restaurant is especially international during the winter season, so good English skills are required. Additional language skills are considered an advantage. The position is permanent, and work will start according to agreement.
