Job Description

Join Wärtsilä as a Sourcing Specialist and help secure reliable deliveries that enable a more sustainable future. **Key responsibilities** As a Sourcing Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring supply readiness and delivery performance across Wärtsilä's project portfolio. This is a newly established role where you will act as a key link between suppliers and internal stakeholders, helping ensure that critical supply chain information is visible, actionable, and up to date. Your focus will be on supplier capacity, delivery performance, and supply risk management. You will analyse large data sets, maintain supplier performance and capacity information, and proactively identify risks that may impact project deliveries. By combining data analysis with close stakeholder collaboration, you will help improve delivery reliability and support informed decision-making across the sourcing organisation. **Your responsibilities include:** - Maintaining supplier capacity visibility aligned with project demand and sourcing plans - Monitoring supplier performance, delivery reliability, and capacity constraints - Building and maintaining supplier risk data and performance reporting - Identifying, analysing, and communicating supply risks and mitigation actions - Following up on late deliveries, shortages, and recovery plans, together with the purchasing teams - Maintaining accurate supply and delivery information in SAP and other business systems - Coordinating cross-functional communication and supporting data-driven decision-making - Developing structured reporting, documentation, and supplier performance processes **What makes you a great fit?** We are looking for someone with a few years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, supply chain planning, or another relevant analytical role. You are comfortable working with large amounts of data, translating analysis into actionable insights, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
