Future Food Factory is looking for an energetic and reliable kitchen and dishwashing worker for on-call work in our production kitchen and at various events and functions. In this role, you are an important part of everyday kitchen operations. Your work keeps dishes circulating, workstations clean and organised, and the whole kitchen team working smoothly. In addition to dishwashing, the work includes kitchen support tasks and other varied catering duties. The work is practical, mobile and may at times be physically demanding. Situations and tasks can change quickly during the day, so above all we are looking for someone with initiative who can work independently even when busy. What does the work involve? Your duties consist of varied kitchen support tasks. Your day may include: - washing dishes and dishwashing duties - counting, organising and handling dishes for events - cleaning and maintaining the kitchen and other work areas - keeping the dishwashing station tidy and operational - assisting cooks and other kitchen staff - organising ingredients and supplies - waste handling and maintaining general order in the kitchen - other daily kitchen support tasks You will work both in the production kitchen and at event venues, so the work environment and the day's duties may vary. Being busy does not overwhelm you, and you can keep your work organised even when a lot is happening around you. What do we offer? We offer varied on-call work where you can experience both everyday life in a production kitchen and different events and functions. You will also have the opportunity to gain experience in kitchen, catering and event work. Shifts are offered according to need, so work may not be available every day.
