Job Description
We are looking for an innovative and collaborative professional to join our team. We work in a hybrid environment as an inspiring community where we share our expertise and support each other. The Educational Technology Specialist works in Häme University of Applied Sciences' Digital Services Learning Design team (LeaD). The team’s task is to develop the digitalization of higher education in collaboration with teachers, digital mentors, and support staff. As an Educational Technology Specialist, you will support and develop digital solutions and content used in teaching in cooperation with various teams within Digital Services. You will promote the appropriate use of educational technologies, especially Microsoft 365 and AI solutions, and identify new services and pedagogically meaningful ways to use them. A key part of your work involves guiding and training staff. You will also participate in producing high-quality and accessible digital pedagogical content. You should have experience in project management and facilitation. Requirements - A relevant higher education degree and work experience in the field - Pedagogical qualification - Knowledge of teaching systems and support tasks (e.g., M365, Moodle, Zoom) - Experience in pedagogical use of AI - Work experience in the education sector or training roles - Skills in accessible content production - Understanding of data protection and information security - Social skills and good teamwork ability - Good proficiency in Finnish and English Valuable qualities - Higher education experience - Initiative, active, and practical approach - Fluent communication skills - Willingness to learn new things and take on challenges - Experience in agile development and project-based work - Stress resilience and adaptability to changing situations - Service-mindedness and customer-centric approach Applications should be submitted via Kuntarekry by June 3, 2026.
