We are now seeking a specialist for tailored job placement for a permanent official position in Helsinki Employment Services. At Helsinki Employment Services, we work to ensure that job seekers and employers meet. We help job seekers acquire the skills required for employment and remove barriers to employment. In the specialist's role, the emphasis is on tailored promotion of our clients' employment, searching for hidden jobs, and client-oriented employer cooperation. Tailored job placement is based on a genuine understanding of the needs of clients and employers. As a specialist, you map clients' skills and look for suitable job opportunities. In addition, you build and maintain cooperation with companies in different industries as well as internal and external networks and ensure that the job finds the right person. You are also responsible for the employment services of the clients under your responsibility as a labor authority. The work is versatile and impactful, and it requires courage, curiosity, service-mindedness, and especially the will to achieve set goals. Key tasks: - map clients' skills and implement tailored job placement based on them - handle official tasks and unemployment security solutions related to clients - be responsible for the up-to-date and high-quality maintenance of the client information system - search for suitable job opportunities for clients and utilize subsidies paid to employers (e.g., wage subsidy and Helsinki supplement) in promoting employment - advise and guide purposefully in finding solutions related to employment The eligibility requirement for the task is a lower university degree or other equivalent expertise, and the language skill requirement is good oral and written Finnish, good oral English, and satisfactory Swedish or another language. We expect from you: - a client-oriented, solution-focused, and purposeful approach to work - courage to approach employers and an understanding of their daily life and recruitment needs - ability to assess the different service needs of job seeker clients and identify factors affecting employment - excellent interaction and networking skills and willingness to work in official capacity We consider current experience in official employment promotion work as an advantage.
