About the role

Sanmina designs, manufactures and repairs optical, electronic and mechanical products. As a global technology leader, Sanmina provides comprehensive design, manufacturing and logistics solutions that ensure superior quality and support for OEM manufacturers (Original Equipment Manufacturer). The company primarily serves the industrial, medical, defense, aerospace, automotive, communication network and cloud service sectors. Sanmina's Haukiputaa site in Oulu provides electronics contract manufacturing. Haukiputaa provides comprehensive design and manufacturing services for circuit board assemblies and complete systems for industries including communications, healthcare, defense, and instrumentation and control. Both Finnish and international customers benefit from local DFX, prototype development and launch services (NPI). In addition, the Haukiputaa unit offers mass production of circuit boards and systems, comprehensive supply chain management and a direct link to Sanmina's more than 70 production facilities worldwide. Would you like to be part of developing electronics production in an international technology environment? We are now looking for a process engineer for a permanent employment contract for our client Sanmina. You will join a local Engineering team consisting of about 15 technical professionals. The employment is permanent and work starts immediately upon finding the right person. Work is mainly on-site in Haukiputaa and working hours are flexible. What does the process engineer's job involve? You are responsible for the design and creation of new production processes and the development of current processes. Your key task is to ensure the smoothness, quality and efficiency of production in daily operations. You are responsible for the evaluation of new production solutions and equipment, participate in equipment purchases as a technical expert and implement new production processes. You take care of process documentation and transferring it to production control systems. You also act as support for our customers' design teams in the planning and implementation of product manufacturing. To achieve the best result, you work in continuous cooperation with production operators and other internal stakeholders, such as maintenance, IT professionals and quality professionals. What kind of expertise do we hope for from you? We hope for strong experience in the management of production processes in the electronics industry. We hope for suitable engineering education and/or several years of work experience with SMT technology and electronics assembly. You know the quality requirements and standards of the electronics industry (IPC-A-610) and have the ability to read and understand diverse technical documents. In addition, we hope for a proactive and solution-oriented approach to work. Workdays are sometimes hectic and work requires a quick reaction – we therefore hope for flexibility, the ability to prioritize tasks, react to changing situations and find solutions even in the middle of a rush. Fluent Finnish and English language skills are a necessity in the position. What do we offer? We offer you the opportunity to work in an international technology company at the heart of the modern electronics industry. You will get to create and shape new production processes, participate in new investments and work in a versatile role that combines technical expertise, problem solving and development work. You are supported by an experienced Engineering team where expertise is actively shared and problems are solved together. In the position, you do not work only at a desk, but are actively involved in the daily production, the introduction of new products and the development of processes near the production lines. Working hours are flexible and we hope for the possibility of on-site work in Haukiputaa. As an employment benefit, we offer a sports benefit. Interested? I would be happy to tell you more about the position! More information can be obtained from Jenna Jaurakkajärvi by phone 0406625291 or by email jenna.jaurakkajarvi@sol.fi.
