Communications and Marketing Intern

Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences is a multidisciplinary university with 6000 students and 400 staff. SEAMK is an active developer for regional companies and organizations. SEAMK's communications and marketing department is looking for an Intern for the period 14.9.-31.12.2026. Depending on the applicant's background, the duties of the communications and marketing intern include: - student-oriented content production (ideation, implementation and post-production) for SEAMK's social media channels and developing channels by following data and trends - audiovisual productions - organizing and implementing virtual visits - participation in marketing campaigning - participation in the creation of SEAMK's (e.g. RDI activities, education and study) videos and other AV productions or planning and implementing productions of possible different clients - as well as other tasks defined by the employer. The internship can be directed to different areas of communication and marketing. The intern is required to have good knowledge of SEAMK. The intern is required to have the ability to work independently, openness, a proactive attitude, command of the Finnish language, good English language skills and a desire to learn new things. The terms of employment are determined by the collective agreement of Sivista Universities of Applied Sciences. The regular working time is on average 7 hours 15 minutes per day and 36 hours 15 minutes per week. In principle, the daily working time from Monday to Friday is 8.00–15.45, but there is occasional evening work, for example due to events. The working time is subject to the working time regulations of Chapter 2 of the Sivista collective agreement and the flexible working time instructions of Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences. In the remuneration of the intern, the line set by Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences Ltd is applied, according to which the intern's salary is 1161.35 €/month.
