Mental health and substance abuse services provide basic-level mental health and substance abuse services for adults in our welfare area. We are looking for a nurse to be placed in the mental health and substance abuse team of the Hyvinkää sote-center. In Keusote, nurses providing mental health and substance abuse care are part of multidisciplinary teams at the health center, within which we are able to provide a comprehensive assessment of the need for care and treatment flexibly, effectively and persistently. Our open rehabilitation points in Hyvinkää and Järvenpää offer intensive substance abuse open rehabilitation based on recovery orientation and community. Our health counseling points in Hyvinkää and Järvenpää provide advice, guidance, rapid testing and exchange of equipment for IV drug users and substance abuse clients outside the services. Treatment of severe withdrawal symptoms of addictive diseases takes place at our 11-bed detoxification ward at Hyvinkää H-hospital. We produce substance abuse institutional rehabilitation at the Mäntsälä sote-center. Our mental health and substance abuse nurses also work at the digital clinic, whose services are available to the residents of the area through the Omakeusote service. The mental health and substance abuse nurses of the digital team focus on advice, guidance, assessment of the need for care and the production of group-based guided self-care. In addition to the health center, other mental health and substance abuse services are comprehensively offered in our welfare area for long-term patients who no longer need specialized medical care; we have a mental health support team, within which they are arranged the necessary psychosocial support and flexible access to somatic healthcare services. The nurse selected for the position will focus on substitution treatment and the production of group and individual effective short-term interventions for adult mental health and substance abuse clients. Eligibility for the position: The eligibility requirement for the position is a university of applied sciences degree in social and health care or an earlier institute-level degree. In addition, a nursing license according to the Act on Health Care Professionals (559/1994) is required. We also require a specialization in mental health and substance abuse nursing in your studies and a 30 ECTS short-term therapy training (e.g., cognitive short-term therapy or acceptance and commitment therapy). We expect and hope from the applicant: We require experience in mental health work and/or substance abuse work at the basic level or in specialized medical care. We expect from you the ability to treat both mental health and substance abuse patients, to act as an expert as part of multidisciplinary teams and to continuously develop professional skills and services. Further information on the employment relationship and clarifications to be presented for the position: Fixed-term employment relationship until 30.6.2027, start according to agreement. The position-specific salary is 3679.42 €/month. We also pay an addition based on work experience. Vaccination protection required by Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act and a clarification regarding respiratory tuberculosis according to Section 55 are required in immediate patient and client work.
