Postipuu reception home is a reception and assessment unit for children and young people in need of urgent placement. We have two units, each with space for seven children and young people. The current position is located in the unit for younger children. Placements are short-term, typically 1-2 months. The instructor's role, in collaboration with the work team, the reception home's nurse, and the occupational therapist, is to urgently assess the support needs of the placed child and their family. The work requires the ability for genuine encounter, good interaction skills, and readiness to operate within official networks. Documentation is emphasized in the assessment work, so good proficiency in Finnish is required. Eligibility requirement: a suitable Bachelor's degree (AMK). Additionally, we require: - a professional approach to child welfare work - a desire to develop as a professional in the field - teamwork skills - a genuine desire to encounter children and families - readiness for three-shift work, a driver's license, and driving skills We value work experience in child welfare and working with children and families.
