Bus Driver Position Now Open at Northern Lights Village Pyhä! The Northern Lights Village brand was born in 2016 and since then we have opened three resorts in Finnish Lapland. We pride ourselves in delivering consistently warm and personalized service to our guests. About the Role We are looking for a qualified bus driver to take care of local and airport transfers, rides for aurora hunting experiences, as well as being a supporting guide during the activities for groups. Key Responsibilities - Operating company cars on scheduled routes and maintaining timeliness - Ensuring passenger safety and satisfaction - Maintaining a clean and tidy vehicle at all times - Providing information and assistance to passengers as required - Supporting guides during aurora hunting excursions - Adhering to traffic laws and regulations - Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, and reporting any bus malfunctions or needed repairs to maintenance. - Using company’s applications to check customer data Requirements - Valid Finnish bus driver license (D-class) - Fluent written and spoken English - Excellent navigational and driving skills - Good communication skills - Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays - A minimum of 2 years driving experience is preferred - Experience driving in winter conditions - Clear criminal background report Desirable Qualifications - Experience with customer service - Previous experience as a wilderness guide - Finnish language knowledge - Knowledge of the local area - Photography skills What We Offer - Competitive salary - Opportunities for professional development and training - A positive and supportive working environment - Discounts across our properties and facilities Pay, Duration, and Benefits - Starts: October/November, Ends: March/April - Minimum 90 working hours per 3 weeks period - Hourly pay negotiated in an interview, according to knowledge and experience - Other benefits according to the collective labor agreement - If necessary, the resort provides accommodation in a shared room for €250,00/month
