We are seeking a psychologist for a substitute position at the Intellectual Disability Clinic. Your work at the clinic will be diverse and touch upon several areas of psychological expertise. Your clients will be children, youth, and adults. Your job description includes psychological examinations (e.g., developmental level assessments) and therapeutic conversations with people with intellectual disabilities and their close relatives. In addition, your duties include consulting and guiding the staff of schools, work and day activities, and housing units, e.g., in questions related to mental health and behavior. You will operate in a multidisciplinary team, also evaluating special issues related to the right of self-determination of people with intellectual disabilities. We have a pleasant work community and a competent psychology team from which you will receive support and orientation for your work. The work takes place at the clinic and as mobile work in the client's everyday environment. You can influence the rhythm of your work and work partially remotely. We hope for an enthusiastic approach to work, good interaction skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team. Interviews will be held primarily in the morning on August 13. The position requires vaccination protection according to Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act and a tuberculosis certificate according to Section 55. The position requires the presentation of a criminal record extract (Act on the verification of the criminal background of persons working with children 504/2002). The position requires the presentation of a criminal record extract for those working with disabled persons (Act on the supervision of social and health care 741/2023, Section 28).
