Our unit belongs to the Tyks Ear Clinic, but our outpatient clinic is located at the Tyks Vakka-Suomi Hospital in Uusikaupunki. The hearing care service at Tyks Vakka-Suomi Hospital is part of the specialized healthcare outpatient clinics. The content of the work is diverse, and in this position, you will be able to extensively use your skills as an audiologist and develop professionally. Hearing care operates in multi-professional and flexible team cooperation with the ear outpatient clinic. Our working spaces are good and bright, and we work with modern research equipment. Your tasks The main duties of an audiologist include performing diagnostic hearing tests and acting as an expert in all stages of the hearing rehabilitation process, from planning hearing aid rehabilitation to hearing aid adjustments, as well as providing patient counseling and guidance. The work is independent, but it is carried out in close cooperation with another colleague and other professional groups. Working hours are during official office hours. The job requires good Finnish language skills and clear oral communication. Successful performance of the work also requires good interaction and cooperation skills. We value patient-oriented service and an independent working style. The eligibility requirement for the position is specialist training as an audiologist and legalization in accordance with the Act on Health Care Professionals (559/1994). In addition, we require a patient-oriented, flexible, and development-positive way of working. Work experience as an audiologist as well as skills in Swedish and English are considered an advantage.
