Reindeer Guide

We are seeking a new team member for our client Kujalan Porotila in Kuusamo to join the winter season of 2026-2027 as a Reindeer Guide. The role combines customer service and guiding guests in Finnish and English, along with daily care of the reindeer (feeding and welfare monitoring). You will guide guests on safaris and farm tours, share information about the lives of the reindeer and the farm’s history, and participate in training the reindeer and various farm maintenance tasks. Prior experience in similar roles or with reindeer is beneficial but not required. We will introduce all tasks at the start of the season and teach you everything you need to know. You will work as part of a large, experienced team of guides and reindeer professionals. Good physical condition, sociable nature and a genuine interest in animals and outdoor life are advantageous. We value honesty, responsibility and initiative in performing your tasks. The work starts in November and runs through March–April, full-time, with options to adjust hours in the application. We assist with housing if needed. The contract is between Bondata and the employee. The terms follow the Program Service Industry collective agreement.
