Machine and Production Engineering Engineer

We are continually seeking new employees with various backgrounds for Varsinais-Suomi. The role is for a Machine and Production Engineering Engineer for our client in the Salo area. The position is centered between the machine shop and personnel, responsible for ensuring production runs smoothly, quality, safety and schedules, and works closely with internal functions such as procurement and sales. Responsible for operational management in the manufacturing stages of machining and welding. Oversees production processes planning, optimization and monitoring in an industrial environment. Works to improve efficiency, reduce costs and ensure production runs smoothly and safely. Tasks include production planning and control, daily operations, resource allocation and adherence to schedules. Manage staff: train workers, assign tasks and support well-being. Quality control: ensure products meet required quality and documentation. Safety management: monitor compliance with safety regulations and safe practices. Problem solving: address technical issues in production. Ensure daily supervision, maintenance and recycling points are handled as planned. Communicate between management and workers; ensure company policies are followed. Participate in daily factory meetings and lead your own group meetings. The role requires technical training and/or experience (e.g., machining, welding or production engineering); higher education degree such as a mechanical and production engineering degree is an advantage. Experience in supervisory work, good organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
