About the role

Hello! We are seeking a childcare worker or social worker for a fixed-term position in Naantali's early childhood education Rapid Support Team (NOPPA team) for the period 1.9.2026 (or by agreement) - 31.5.2027. Other suitable education for the position may also be considered. Are you interested in implementing child support in early childhood education in practice? Do you want to develop permanent operating models and practices for our daily work that strengthen the support and well-being of the child and family? Would you be a support to the daily routine of early childhood education units? Do you want to be a member of the NOPPA team? If you answered yes to at least one question, you might be the employee we are looking for! As a childcare worker in the Noppa team, you will work flexibly in different early childhood education units in cooperation with the early special education team. The goal is to ensure support for the child's growth and learning in their immediate daily environment, as part of equitable and high-quality early childhood education. Three employees work in the Noppa team: a special education teacher for early childhood education, a childcare worker, and a social worker. Requirements for the position: - good knowledge of early childhood education and pre-primary education - good cooperation skills and flexibility - both an independent working style and teamwork skills - use of own car. Eligibility requirement is a qualification as an early childhood education childcare worker, social worker, or other suitable education for the position. In connection with the selection, the applicant must present a criminal record extract in accordance with Section 6.2 of the Criminal Records Act. Terms of employment are determined by the Municipal General Civil Service and Employment Agreement (KVTES). Salary according to Naantali's early childhood education level salary is 2590.88€ per month. Additionally, we have a personal supplement based on professional mastery and performance at work.
