Assembler

Multiple permanent positions available for fitters / assemblers at a Finnish machine shop in Joutsa. We are seeking several assemblers / fitters for permanent employment at our workshop in Joutsa. Production is growing strongly, and we are looking to strengthen our installation and assembly team. You will primarily work at our machine shop in Joutsa, but the job also includes occasional project-based installation assignments at customer sites. Your tasks will include a variety of installation, assembly, maintenance and repair tasks for machines and equipment, as well as various sub-assembly work. The role requires carefulness, technical skills and the ability to solve practical problems together with the team. Desired: reading drawings; experience in installation and assembly tasks; independent, responsible and meticulous work attitude; suitable training in metal, mechanical or production engineering; strong mechanical skills and problem-solving ability; good teamwork skills; good Finnish language skills. Nice-to-have: valid occupational safety and hot work certificates; experience in metal industry or machine shop tasks; willingness to travel to installation sites occasionally.
