We are now looking for a childcare worker for the Child Protection Unit Niittypolku in Nummela. Niittypolku has two separate 7-place specialized units, Niitty and Polku. We offer fostered children a homely and safe environment to live in. The work is full-time and permanent, with shifts in three. The start date is agreed upon together. As a childcare worker, you support and encourage children and youth in daily challenges and participate in the assessment of child care and upbringing. You will also act as a guardian. The work is based on listening to the client, respectful treatment, and supporting participation. The work is always done in close cooperation with guardians, the local network, schools, and social authorities. You will find that no day is the same! The salary in this position ranges from 2723.92 to 2990.35 euros/month. In addition, shift work supplements are paid according to the collective agreement of the private social services sector. We value previous experience working with children and youth, especially experience in child protection work, psychiatric care for children and youth, and child care and upbringing work.
