Freight Forwarder

Scan Global Logistics is seeking a freight forwarding professional to manage sea and project shipments. The role involves coordinating import and export shipments within Finland and globally. Initially, the focus is on sea freight, but the role also includes planning and executing project shipments, which may involve coordinating heavy or oversized equipment using various transport modes and smaller project deliveries requiring complex logistics solutions. The client base ranges from large international companies to small domestic operators. The Finnish team is a close-knit group of expert and relaxed employees. A single forwarder often handles all stages of a shipment, strengthening trust between the employee and the customer. The position offers a permanent role in a growing international logistics company with a flexible hybrid work model and flexible working hours. Key responsibilities include coordinating sea and project shipments, opening shipments in the forwarding program, arranging pickups and deliveries, planning project shipments with the team, documentation, customs clearance (with support from specialists), cost entry, invoicing, and active communication with customers and stakeholders. A limited security clearance will be conducted for the selected candidate.
