You now have the opportunity to work in a small and pleasant work community at the JobCenter youth workshop. We are looking for a full-time (36.25 h/week) individual coach. Work begins on September 1, 2026, or as agreed. The employment is fixed-term until December 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension. JobCenter is part of the youth work under the culture and leisure services sector of Kristiinankaupunki. We are looking for a person who is accustomed to working independently, possesses good cooperation skills, and is genuinely interested in working with young people. Duties include coaching youth through individual guidance to improve their readiness to apply for training, complete education, find employment in the open labor market, or access necessary services. The role also involves strengthening the youth's life skills and promoting their development, independence process, and social inclusion. Eligibility requirements include a suitable vocational qualification, a higher education degree, or equivalent work experience. Access to a private car is essential. Language requirements include good oral and written skills in Finnish and Swedish. Proficiency in English is considered an advantage. A two (2) month probationary period applies to the employment. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract (L 504/2002) before the start of employment. Salary is determined according to the general municipal civil servants' and employees' collective agreement (KVTES/AKTA). The level salary is 2,759.49 euros (2VAP50B1).
