Electrical Automation Technician

We are seeking an Electrical Automation Technician for Meira Ltd. on a permanent contract to perform a diverse set of automation maintenance tasks in the Food Production facility. As an electrical automation technician you will work as part of Meira’s skilled maintenance team at the Vallila traditional coffee plant, performing maintenance and repair tasks on packaging and production machines. The work is done in a non-regular two-shift system, mostly day shift with a night-shift week every about 4–5 weeks. We expect candidates to be prepared for three-shift work. The production site is located with good transport connections in Helsinki, Vallila. We require relevant electrical field education and a few years of previous industrial maintenance experience (e.g., food industry and packaging machines). Most important is the right attitude toward work, motivation to grow in maintenance of production equipment, and a positive, service-oriented approach. The job uses Finnish language for tasks, onboarding and written instructions, so good Finnish is required; English at least basic is also acceptable. Desirable: S2/S3 qualification, automation expertise, and experience with general machine shop equipment. Good command of English and basic knowledge of common software (e.g., MS Office) are a plus.
