School Assistant

A school assistant position is open for the period 1.9.2026 - 4.6.2027 at Saimaanportti comprehensive school. High-quality performance of duties requires initiative, an active role in the operating environment, the courage to speak up, and a readiness for a guiding approach to work. Working hours are general working hours, 30 h / week. The selected candidate is required to have a degree in school assistance and morning/afternoon activity guidance (or an equivalent previous degree) or another suitable degree. Original degree and work certificates, as well as certified copies of the aforementioned certificates, must be brought to the interview and left with the interviewer. Before starting work, the person appointed to the position must present a medical certificate of their health status to the employer and a criminal record extract as intended in Section 6, Paragraph 2 of the Criminal Records Act (so-called criminal record extract for those working with children). A 6-month probationary period will be set for the selected candidate. Selection requires the applicant's consent to drug testing.
