Vantaa City is seeking an active and courageous school assistant for the disabled education and demanding special education team at Ilola School. The role involves supporting and assisting students in all daily activities, including washing, dining, school transport, and potential care procedures. The work is physically demanding and requires the ability to work with children, including the use of alternative communication methods such as sign language and various communication aids. The assistant works closely with guardians and other care and rehabilitation parties. As a school assistant, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team supporting students' growth, development, and learning. The work involves close joint planning and collaboration. Shifts are scheduled on weekdays between 7:15 AM and 4:15 PM, and work is also performed during school holidays in holiday activities. Ilola School is a diverse primary school (grades 1-5) that emphasizes respect, safety, cooperation, and positivity.
