Health Centre Physician

The primary healthcare services of the Kainuu wellbeing services county include the general medicine outpatient clinic and the general medicine ward at the Kainuu Central Hospital in Kajaani, clinics in every municipality in Kainuu, and health centre hospitals in Sotkamo, Suomussalmi, and Puolanka. We are currently seeking a skilled professional for the position of health centre physician. The work is versatile and offers opportunities for professional development. Colleagues and other staff support the work. We treat both acute and chronic illnesses. We work in a multidisciplinary team, and a physician's professional skills develop quickly here. Support from colleagues is always available. In our work, we strive to promote long-term treatment relationships in accordance with the continuity of care model. The patient information system used is Lifecare. Remuneration is based on our own local agreement. The starting date is flexible. A 6-month probationary period is applied. Eligibility for the position requires a Licentiate of Medicine degree and an unrestricted right to practice the profession in Finland. A degree as a specialist in general medicine is considered an advantage when applying for the position. Working in the position requires good proficiency in the Finnish language.
