Metalworker

We are looking for a metalworker with welding skills for versatile tasks in the prototype shop for Sisu Auto in Karjaa. In this role, you will not produce the same parts day after day, but instead work with various components, repairs, and new solutions. The prototype shop manufactures, modifies, and repairs vehicle-related metal parts and carries out various experimental and prototype work. The job is suitable for a person who enjoys varied tasks and practical problem-solving. Work includes welding, manufacturing and shaping metal parts, repair work, and building various prototypes. Depending on your expertise, tasks may also include the use of machining tools and other metalworking machinery. You will receive the necessary orientation for work stages and machinery. In this position, you will work according to drawings and work instructions, as well as in situations where a suitable implementation method must be decided practically. Meticulousness, initiative, and the ability to produce high-quality work are emphasized. We expect from you: * Experience in MIG/MAG welding or other suitable welding * Basic skills in metalworking * Ability to read technical drawings or willingness to learn * Proficiency in Finnish * Interest in versatile metal and repair work Additionally, the following are considered an advantage: * Valid welding certifications * Experience in machining or using metalworking machinery * Knowledge of the vehicle or machinery industry * Versatile welding expertise Welding skills and basic metal industry knowledge must be mastered, but you do not need to know everything in advance. You will be oriented to the tasks, machinery, and Sisu Auto's working methods.
