Digital Communications Producer

As a Digital Communications Producer, you will make the City of Rovaniemi's communications and marketing more impactful. You will produce and publish content about the city and its life, services, events, and decision-making. Your duties include: - Producing and publishing communication and marketing content across various communication channels. - Monitoring and reporting on the reach and impact of communications. - Maintaining communication systems and monitoring analytics (e.g., websites, intranet, social media, communication publishing systems). - Coordinating content production with different sectors. - Image and video editing. - Participating in communication, marketing, and participation events. - Training staff on the entities related to your duties. We expect from you: - Experience in website maintenance and publishing. - Knowledge of social media channels and experience in managing social media accounts. - Evidence of producing attractive web and social media content. - Skills in photo and video shooting and editing for web publications. - Good communication and interaction skills. - Excellent Finnish language skills. - Good English language skills. A suitable higher education degree is a qualification requirement. Knowledge of a city or municipal organization or other public organization is considered an advantage. We value a proactive approach and the ability to produce and publish content quickly. FURTHER INFORMATION The position will be filled starting October 1, 2026, or as soon as possible by agreement. The position is subject to a six (6) month probationary period. The position is permanent. The terms of employment are determined in accordance with the Municipal General Civil Servants' and Employees' Collective Agreement (KVTES). The weekly working time is 36 h 15 min. The position-specific monthly salary for the Digital Communications Producer is 3,187.75 euros per month, with a possible addition based on previous work experience.
