Wellpack is looking for a skilled lathe operator for a customer in Lohja to manufacture demanding industrial products. The customer is a Finnish technology company with a long track record, producing complex products and assemblies for industrial needs. The production emphasizes high quality, strong technical competence, and processing of demanding materials. What does the job involve? As a lathe operator you will work with a range of machining tasks. In the role you will program and operate CNC lathes independently, so the position requires experience and knowledge of Fanuc control and programming directly on the machine. Machines are modern CNC lathes such as turning and milling centers. The materials and parts to be machined vary, offering varied machining work. Work is currently done in a single shift Mon-Fri 40h/week, with the possibility of two shifts. Depending on production needs longer days and weekend work may be possible. Start date as agreed, as soon as possible. We expect from you: previous experience with CNC turning; independent mastery of Fanuc control and programming; precise, quality and reliable work attitude; carefulness and responsibility; valid occupational safety card; good Finnish or English language skills. Nice to have: experience with other controls; CAM software skills; experience machining demanding or large parts; experience machining titanium or other demanding materials.
