We are looking for combined service workers for food and cleaning services in schools and day-care centres in Rovaniemi. Job description We offer both on-call employment and fixed-term employment at different sites around Rovaniemi. Working hours generally fall on weekdays during school and day-care operating hours, between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Work duties The work includes a variety of food and cleaning service duties, such as: - Independently carrying out food-service and cleaning tasks at small school sites according to the instructions provided. - Setting out food in the dining room and/or on serving trolleys. - Washing dishes and keeping the kitchen clean in accordance with self-monitoring instructions. - Preparing salads, snacks and other kitchen items. At day-care centres, this also includes preparing breakfast porridge. - Carrying out maintenance cleaning in school and day-care buildings according to the instructions provided. What we expect from you - A hygiene passport. - Basic spoken and written Finnish skills. - Previous experience in similar duties. - An independent and responsible approach to work. - The ability to work both independently and as part of a work community.
