Now is a unique opportunity to do so.** We are seeking a social worker (sosionomi) for a permanent, full-time position at Vihdin Validia-talo, which opens in late 2024. In this role, you will participate in the launch of the new unit and help build the operational culture from the very first days. As a social worker, you will play a key role in supporting residents' daily lives, inclusion, and the achievement of individual goals, as well as strengthening cooperation with loved ones and various networks. Vihdin Validia-talo is an 18-place high-service unit for clients with intellectual disabilities and those on the autism spectrum. The unit consists of five group homes and is designed to meet the individual needs of clients requiring intensive support. The core of the operation is the client's quality of life, a safe daily routine, and a high-quality, rehabilitative approach. **What does the role involve?** As a social worker, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and participate in the daily guidance and care work for clients. You will support residents' inclusion, self-determination, and the smoothness of their daily lives, and help them achieve their own goals. Your work also includes network cooperation and maintaining contact with residents' loved ones, wellbeing services county operators, and other collaborating parties. You will participate in various client and network meetings and support residents and their loved ones with applications and inquiries regarding various services and benefits. Although social work expertise and network work are emphasized, the job is strongly rooted in the clients' daily lives. You will participate in daily guidance and care work together with other staff and help build the new unit's operating methods from the start. The work is based on a two-shift system. Requirements
