We are hiring a permanent Social Pedagogue in Early Childhood Education for Kuivasrannan daycare, in a group of children under 3 years old at the start of the employment. The daycare emphasizes outdoor learning, diverse local surroundings to promote inquiry-based learning and various physical activities. The position starts in a temporary building that will move to a renovated space (Kalevalantie 13, 90570 Oulu) in January 2027. The qualification required is the Social Pedagogue qualifications under the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018) and its transitional provisions (75§), or a Bachelor’s degree in social and health care with the required modules in early childhood education and social pedagogy (60 credits), or a sole Social Pedagogue degree supplemented by those modules. The task-based pay for the position is determined by a pay scale and levels of knowledge and responsibility, ranging from €2,866.22 to €2,961.73 per month. The actual salary consists of task-based pay and potential additional scales under KVTES. Before starting, the applicant must present a police background check as required by law.
