Our client Weckman Steel Oy is increasing its production volumes, and we are now looking for skilled welders to join their team. The work will begin with a six-month fixed-term employment through Heimo, after which the goal is to transfer directly to Weckman’s own payroll on a permanent contract. Its well-known brands include Tuhti and Progantti. Weckman employs around 100 professionals at its factories in Vierumäki and Iisalmi. The international Weckman Group also includes Orima-Tuote Oy, Esco AS in Estonia and JHW-Profiles GmbH in Germany. Job description and requirements: The work involves varied welding in steel-structure production at the Vierumäki factory. - Duties: Mainly MIG/MAG welding, partly also using the TIG method. The material is structural steel. - Qualifications: A valid root pass qualification is required. You may already have the qualification, or you must have the ability and skills to complete the required qualification test at Weckman at the start of employment. - Working hours: Readiness to work two shifts, alternating weekly between morning and evening shifts. - Language skills: The working language and instructions are in Finnish, so good Finnish skills are required for the role.
