We are seeking a speech-language therapist for the Turku unit opening in May. Would you like to help build a new operation from the ground up and join an inspiring, supportive team where you won’t be left alone? Your client base includes patients referred through primary health care with funding entitlements and Kela rehabilitation decisions. The work will initially involve mobility, and remote therapy is also possible. Later, the role may focus on clinic-based reception work. Terapia Merkus is a community-driven and evolving therapy service provider where employee well-being and smooth day-to-day operations are central. You can focus on high-quality client work without administrative burden. Our everyday culture emphasizes flexibility, trust, and genuine support. You have the freedom to plan your own work and schedule, but you won’t be alone: you will have a multidisciplinary work community and easy access to colleagues and a support team. We invest in professional development by offering regular clinical supervision and opportunities for training. We want you to enjoy your work and to perform it with quality and sustainability. Each of us is an important part of the whole. We offer you: - Opportunity for free and autonomous training; - Weekly small-group case supervision; - Freedom to plan your calendar: client numbers and working hours according to your wishes; - Independent job description with strong and accessible support; - Multidisciplinary and collaborative work community; - Opportunity to focus on therapy with a support team handling client acquisition, pricing, feedback, materials, and IT/training matters; - Ongoing collegial consultation; - Mentor team support, especially weekly meetings for newly graduated professionals. What we expect from you? - You have graduated or are about to graduate as a speech-language therapist; - You want to work with clients, either in mobile work or partly remotely; - You are eager to develop your own work and be part of a community-driven team; - The selected applicant must present a criminal background check for working with minors. We’d love to hear from you! Send your application or ask for more; we can discuss what role might suit you.
