Caregiver

We are seeking a caregiver to act as a substitute for respite care at the home of a 16-year-old boy in Vihti. The role mainly involves daytime care at home, with occasional weekend shifts. The person has developmental disabilities and autism and communicates with signs, pictures and physical touch. The caregiver should be calm, gently firm, determined and patient. The person enjoys walking, trampoline jumping, listening to music, watching TV and YouTube, and good food and cooking. There is no public transport to the home, so you need your own car. The job requires a registered healthcare professional and experience working with autistic individuals, especially non-verbal ones.
