
Environmental and Biodiversity Manager
Environmental & Biodiversity Manager at OX2, part of the Development team in Poland. Lead environmental and biodiversity activities across wind, PV and BESS projects from development through construction to operation. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, sustainability policies, and ESG practices. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, authorities, landowners, and stakeholders. Key responsibilities include leading environmental specialists in Poland, ensuring quality of deliverables (EIA reports, inventories, monitoring plans, ecological studies), reviewing environmental documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance, supporting project lifecycle stages, advising on environmental risks and permitting strategies, co-developing and implementing ESG and biodiversity strategies, monitoring regulatory trends, and representing the company in industry groups. Requirements include a university degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, or related field; minimum 5 years in environmental management within renewable energy or related sectors; strong understanding of environmental permitting and biodiversity; experience with authorities and consultants; fluent English (B2/C1); strong analytical and communication skills. Requirements
- University degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Environmental Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in environmental management within the renewable energy, energy, advisory or infrastructure sectors
- In-depth understanding of environmental permitting, biodiversity protection, regulations
- Experience working with authorities, contractors, and environmental consultants
- Experience in coordination and implementing biodiversity projects
- Excellent command of English (minimum B2/C1 level)
- Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills
