Civil Engineer

Come and help build the future of energy solutions – join the NEPower team! We are now seeking a CIVIL or CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER for a permanent position! In this role, you will primarily ensure the smooth and cost-effective implementation of the company's civil engineering works. You will operate as part of a project team led by a project manager and provide versatile support for various projects, which may include substations for distribution networks or production plants, as well as various distribution network renovations and renewals. The employment is full-time and begins in late summer or autumn 2026 by agreement. Your workplace can be in Vaasa, Seinäjoki, or Oulu. The work may involve occasional travel to projects as needed (estimated a few travel days per month). You will be supported by skilled design and project management staff, a professional installation team, and versatile systems. In this role, you will be responsible for the following: * Civil and construction technical consultation related to our projects * Calculation of civil and construction technical costs and financial monitoring * Quality control of civil and construction works, as well as the preparation and maintenance of quality documentation * Tendering and negotiation regarding civil and construction technical matters related to our projects * Creating schedules and monitoring implementation for civil and construction technical matters * Design guidance for civil and construction works We are looking for a person who has: * At least a few years of experience in civil engineering tasks; site experience is considered an advantage * Suitable education (e.g., Engineer in construction or urban engineering) * Excellent interaction skills, a solution-oriented approach, and the ability to work with various stakeholders * Excellent Finnish language skills and good English language skills * Good IT skills and the ability to use various systems; AutoCAD proficiency is considered an advantage * Driver's license, willingness to travel, and a car available If you are interested, do not hesitate to apply!
