Betesda-säätiön Betesda-palvelut Oy provides housing and outreach services in Uusimaa for older adults as well as adults in mental health and addiction rehabilitation. Palvelukoti Jokela is located in Lohja, in a natural and quiet setting along the Väänteenjoki river. Jokela consists of five group homes with residents who are adults in mental health and addiction rehabilitation and elderly people. We seek a skilled building caretaker for a permanent position to be responsible for the maintenance and comfort of our facilities. The building complex comprises five sites in four buildings, and the role covers daily care of buildings, maintenance and repair work, and upkeep of outdoor areas. A building caretaker is a key part of a safe and comfortable daily life for residents. Responsibilities include: technical maintenance and monitoring of buildings; minor repairs and maintenance; upkeep of outdoor areas; cooperation with external maintenance and contractors; ensuring safety and functionality of buildings; handling fault reports and coordinating corrective actions. Requirements include suitable real estate or related training or experience; at least five (5) years of work experience in property maintenance; good knowledge of building tech and maintenance; ability to work independently and responsibly; good teamwork and interpersonal skills; fluent Finnish language skills; B-class driving license. Desirable: experience with service, care or elderly housing properties; HVAC, electrical, or construction know-how; knowledge of building automation systems; safety and fire safety training.
