Vantaan sanataidekoulu ry is seeking substitute after-school club instructors. We operate as a service provider in Vantaa in six after-school clubs located in Myyrmäki, Martinlaakso, Tammisto, Pakkala, and Veromäki. We require applicants to have a brisk work ethic, a child-centered approach, initiative, and a sense of responsibility. Education and work experience in the field are not essential but are considered an advantage. The work is also suitable for, for example, a student or a high school graduate on a gap year. The instructor must be able to take responsibility for guiding groups of children and ensure, among other things, the children's arrival and departure times from the club. Substitutes are called to work as needed. Shifts are generally scheduled between 12:00 and 16:00. School after-school activities begin on August 13, 2026. The instructor must present a valid criminal record extract before starting work. After-school club activities are operations prescribed in the Basic Education Act. In our word-art oriented after-school clubs, we follow the City of Vantaa's after-school club plan and Vantaan sanataidekoulun own word-art oriented activity program. After-school activities begin after the school day ends at 12:00 and end between 16:00 and 17:00, and are primarily aimed at 1st and 2nd grade students.
