Airtec, the market leader in industrial air humidification equipment, is looking for a motivated and development-oriented professional with a technical background for a permanent position as an Installer-Maintenance Technician in the Southern Finland region. Your task will be to maintain and install Airtec's air humidification and water purification equipment in the Southern Finland area (south of Rauma-Tampere-Imatra). Work tasks take place on weekdays and do not include emergency call-out duties. The role involves travel, and you must be prepared to stay away from home regularly. It would be most convenient if your place of residence is within a maximum of 100 km from the capital region to reduce travel time. The organization is international, so sufficient English language skills are required. Support materials are partly in English, so you must be able to speak, read, and write in English. Technical support is mainly based in Finland, but there will be a need to communicate in English with the factory in Denmark. You will receive all the support needed for learning, and you will have direct access to the support systems of an organization with long experience in the field. A willingness to study support materials is very important. You will work closely with equipment whose maintenance and installation involve electrical work. The position is well-suited for a person with an electrotechnical background. Understanding of logic (no programming) and frequency converters is an advantage. Demonstrated skills in technical tasks, electrical work, HVAC, or similar are an advantage. The installation is more of an equipment installation than a general electrical installation. In our experience, hobby activities such as car building have previously proven to be "qualifying" for the role. The person we are looking for has experience in independent work and is responsible. You must be able to carry out assigned tasks in a self-directed manner. The right attitude is everything; skills are acquired through doing. You will be responsible for customer relationships in your area, so you must perform your work in a way that ensures you are welcome at the same address next time. A significant advantage is a sales-oriented mindset and customer service skills. You are the company's business card in the field and have an excellent opportunity to promote sales. Due to the nature of the work, good physical condition is necessary. Musculoskeletal disorders or similar are practically an obstacle to managing the work. We consider it an advantage if you already have a C1 driver's license (not essential), experience with industrial sites, and have worked with mobile elevating work platforms.
